EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC CAREER:

Si-Chong Chen is a professor at the College of Chemistry, Sichuan University. He is the associate director of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Eco-Friendly and Fire-Safety Polymeric Materials (MoE). He received his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics (2006) from Sichuan University (2009). He continued his research at the College of Chemistry, Sichuan University as a Lecturer in 2006 and became a full professor since 2014.

HONORS AND AWARDS:

Science and Technology Progress Award of Sichuan Province, the first prize, 2012, ranked fourth.
